WLA CE Workshop Application Guidelines
  1. In order to allow time for all planning, processing of paperwork and marketing of a workshop to effectively take place, there are three deadlines for submitting seed money applications:
    • July 1, for events planned from September-November
    • November 1, for events planned January-March
    • February 1, for events planned from April-September

  2. Check the WLA master calendar and the state library training calendar to make sure that your proposed dates do not conflict with holidays or other WLA or library activities.
    http://www.wla.org/cgi-bin/calendar.pl
    http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/libraries/training/trainingCalendar.aspx
  3. Do not sign any contracts or agreements with speakers/presenters until the seed money has been approved and you are sure that you have adequate funding.
Direct questions to Mary Ross, WLA CE Coordinator.
