About WLA’s eNewsletter

WLA published its first monthly online eNewsletter, Connect, in March 2011. The purpose of the newsletter is twofold: to help publicize WLA activities and to encourage library employees throughout the state to share ideas and information about their library system.

You don’t have to be a member of WLA to receive the monthly eNewsletter. To be added to the monthly email distribution list, email Communications@wla.org.

Submit an Article or Idea!
We rely on readers to send us not only article ideas, but also articles! If you would like to submit an article, guidelines are below. Please send articles or ideas to Communications@wla.org.

 

We are interested in articles or ideas on the following topics:

  • Continuing education
  • Library staff/program news
  • Library best practices
  • Noteworthy WLA members
  • Anything interesting that pertains to libraries.

Guidelines for Submission

  • Keep articles relatively short: 300-400 words
  • Photos are encouraged, with caption information
  • Submit all pieces in a Word document, or paste the text into the body of an email.
  • Include a suggested title.
  • Link to or list sources.
