Changes to WLA Online
The Washington Library Association (WLA) has launched its newly redesigned Web site. In addition to updating the look and feel of WLA Online, the redesign also included the installation and configuration of a content management system called Word Press. Word Press enables WLA and its Interest Groups to create blogs and makes it possible for designated members of the Association and its interests groups to update their own content on wla.org without having to use special software or coding languages. Overall, it is anticipated that Word Press will enhance WLA’s online offerings, increase the sense of ownership for the content on by WLA members and ensure that the web sites are maintained and updated in a more timely fashion.
